drug wars, risk, and grand theft auto
i like to say if drug wars were ice cream, and it had multiple flavors, they'd be: drug wars, risk, and grand theft auto. each flavor brings in its own delicious gameplay elements. allow me to explain the dopeness.
drug wars - the key game component here is to trade drugs in order to pay off the loan shark. that's all cool, but someone told me the other day that these phones nowadays have GPS. allows for a bit more flavor.
risk - in risk, the idea is to basically dominate the world. the long-term objective of the game is to monopolize all territories and push other gangs out of the drug-trading business, which will probably happen over the course of 90 days. the game will reset, and a long-standing leader-board will keep track of gang history.
grand theft auto - the flava' of GTA brings the idea of gangs into drug wars. you select a gang when you open the app. there are also missions to achieve, such as doing a driveby shooting in a neighborhood (where you actually have to be traveling in a car to pull this off; if you don't leave a geographic area within a certain time limit, you'll be arrested and your bail will be pretty high).
disclaimer: due to the graphic and overall questionable nature of this application, it is being built as a web app and intends to completely bypass apple's app store approval process.
